Alpine and SliTaz are both interesting suggestions. I’ve mostly been focused on antiX because I wanted something lightweight but still comfortable enough to use as a normal desktop. Alpine feels a bit more minimal and hands-on, which could actually be fun to try on this machine later. SliTaz also caught my attention because of how tiny it is. For now I’ll probably keep antiX as the main system and use the netbook as a little playground to test things like Databag, Radicale and maybe one of these distributions later.
