I think the assumption by these types is that no one is acting in good faith because they aren’t. So it’s a type of projection (everything is) to be like she’s probably just saying she’s fat for attention but really she thinks she’s skinny I’m gonna go let her know how fat she really is. Meanwhile you (a normal person) is just like yes I’m a little fat and am working on it lol
