I think Nostr clients have pretty much reached a point of saturation when it comes to the number of features. Most of the extra features are only used by a small number of people, and some might not even be used at all. From a UX perspective, they’re still in an experimental stage. A few will stick around and become standard, while we’ve simply gone overboard with some of the others. I also hardly hear anyone saying anymore that we urgently need this feature or that feature. Consolidation phase.

Personally, I’m going to focus on the timeline, display more event types when they show up, and generally optimize and stabilize the client (like introducing automated tests right now). That is, until the next big thing comes along and supporting it becomes somehow mandatory.
