Question about the first case in the article: dual citizen leaving US to Germany on a round-trip: when leaving the US and wanna show Us passport at the counter — what is the counter? Isn’t that the airline and the article said you should give the airline the destination (Germany passport)?
Ie when exactly is the US border control marking you? Isn’t that the check before the security? (Maybe that’s what the article means by “counter”?)
Then at the gate, that’s the airline again, right?
