My daughter just started GirlsWhoCode and is diving into Python and Java.
I refurbished my old dev beast: a 2015 MacBook Pro 15”. Swapped out the battery, gave it a clean, and prepped it for her experiments with local inference and coding.
It brought back so many nostalgic memories. The keyboard on this thing is perfect. There is nothing like it anymore. I would pay in a heartbeat to have this exact typing experience with deep travel, tactile feedback and sound on a modern shell.
